Build Your Own

The BMW Build Your Own (BYO) is a standalone application on BMWUSA.com that provides an interactive vehicle configurator for over one million users a month. With the ability to customize thousands of unique configurations, the goal of this tool is to help users understand all of the complex variations of the BMW model line simply and intuitively while generating excitement over their luxury products.

Our goal for the redesign was to improve the user's overall experience while maintaining the same same technical platform. As the lead visual designer, I led an agile team in restructuring and redesigning the former BYO into a simpler, more intuitive and responsive experience.
